Join Us at Wawenock Golf Club and Explore One of Maine’s Hidden Local Treasures
Designed by famed Golden Age architects Wayne Stiles and John Van Kleek, incorporated in 1926, and opened for play in 1928, Wawenock has hosted generations of golfers who like a relaxed atmosphere while being tested as only a thoughtfully planned course can. Located on Route 129 in Walpole, Maine, just 5 miles south of Damariscotta in the midcoast, Wawenock Golf Club is a 9-hole, parkland style course with open fairways, strategically placed bunkers, and fair but not lenient greens. The greens are moderately sized – around 5,000 square feet – slightly contoured, and of medium speed. Water comes into play on 2 holes. There are alternate tees making for very different holes in an 18-hole round with the course playing from 5,500 to 6,200 yards. Book a tee time!
