About Dan Gillis
Dan Gillis has been a PGA member since 1985, bringing more than four decades of professional experience to Wawenock Golf Club. He comes to Wawenock most recently from Nabnasset Lake Country Club in Westford, Massachusetts, where he served as Head Professional.

Dan's playing career speaks for itself. He won the New Hampshire Chapter Championship in 2005 and the New England PGA Head Pro Championship in 2021, and he has qualified for both the National Club Pro Championship and the Senior Club Pro Championship three times each.

His approach to teaching is straightforward and student-centered. Rather than overwhelming golfers with technical jargon, Dan focuses on helping each student understand what makes the swing work — and what causes it to break down. He draws on movements and concepts familiar to the student, making the game more accessible and easier to internalize regardless of experience level.
